When a campaign was planned the orta would be ordered to provide a service battalion (often 1000 men) for the army. Djivelek were Janissary cadets nearing the end of their training, who often fought alongside older janissaries. They were distinguished by a tall pointed yellow hat. This bundle contains twenty four miniatures.
